WOW!!!

We had our first major winter storm for 2009 today. Meghan had a blast this morning playing out in the snow. By the afternoon, we were blanketed by a sheet of ice and it is still going. Hope it starts to melt off soon.

Some pictures of our plants covered in ICE! These were taken around 8:30 pm and it is still pouring down the freezing rain.

Meghan had a blast making snow angels. She loves when it snows.

Meghan's 3rd Swim Class

She definately did better today. She is feeling more confident and even put her face in the water. She is starting to like the water and loves her swim teacher.

Meghan's New Haircut

Here is what Meghan's hair looks like now. She still has really short bangs, but they will eventually grow out. Gotta laugh about the situation a little.

Mommy, look what I did!!!

Well, Meghan made her first attempt at cutting her own hair. Below are the pictures of what she did.

Benjamin in his Exersaucer

Benjamin got to play in his exersaucer for the first time. He is still a little too small for it, but he enjoys playing without being held. He has started to enjoy watching the Baby Einstien videos and really reacts to the puppets that come on every so often. Here is a video of him trying to eat the blanket.

Meghan's First Swimming Lesson

Meghan has started to take swimming lessons at the University of Charleston swimming pool. She loves the class and for the most part likes to play in the water. She is having a little trouble trusting that the teacher won't let go of her. We are working on that. Here are some videos of her first class.

Benjamin Sucking his thumb!

He has just started to prefer his thumb over his pacifier.

He only sucks on his left thumb. Don't know if that means anything yet. We will see.

He has also just figured out that he has an ear.

(just the one on his right side of his head).

He is approx. 14.5 lbs. and seems to be growing like a weed. He is definately a healthy eater. (We are still having to force Meghan eat most of the time!)

Thanks to her Uncle Matthew, Meghan now has fingerpaints.

She loves them except for the part where she gets dirty.
